Marianne is holding a Natural Birth Workshop in Kwazulunatal on Saturday the 14th of January 2012. The workshop will be both an introduction to first-time parents and a refresher for second-time-around parents. It is ideally a couples workshop, but anyone is welcome, with or without a partner. Natural Birth Workshop Details
Morning Session: The theory and physiology of labour and birth plus the emotional and mental preparation for birth will be addressed, after which we will break for a light lunch.
Afternoon Session: The sharing of practical exercises to equip parents with the tools for labour, birth and the post-birth period. We will cover homebirth, as many parents are choosing this option, and answer any questions you may have on the subject. We will also do an exercise to communicate with the unborn baby and introduce breastfeeding principles.

How to get there: The Natural Birth Workshop is taking place at Summerhill Stud in Hlatikulu rd, exactly 6km outside of Mooi River Town towards the Kamberg. Summerhill stud is on the right hand side of the road. Enter via the Vuma feeds entrance and the house is the first immediate right after the entrance, close to the main rd.
